Wonderful! Looks an amazing place! And is that a chameleon walking across the pavement? Looks the correct shape but not quite camouflaging with the colour of the pavement. Looking forward to hearing the stories!
Thanks Stuart - it is an amazing place! The iguana is one of five that live in the hotel grounds, and was totally unphased by us passing on our way to lunch! There were other lizards around, monkeys, and green parakeets that flew in each evening to roost in the coconut palms (which are not native to Bahia but were brought over from Goa in the 16th century!) We also saw loggerhead turtles, and even a humming bird!
I am mother to Sarah, Catriona and Nathan, grandmother to Lewis, Stephen and Iain Joseph, sister to Jill and Sally and, hopefully, a good friend to many! I work as an administrator. I have been a Christian for 40+ years and am amazed at the things that God has done during my life.
